Solar panels are currently the most efficient and environmentally-friendly way to generate electricity, but they require proper maintenance to function at their best. The main common cause of losses in electricity production is the soiling. Organic soiling, such as dust, bird droppings, pollen, carbon deposits and other debris, is most common to be found. The buildup of soiling will reduce the performance of the panels but it can also affect their lifespan.
Solar Wash Protect (SWP) by Chemitek is a certified, concentrated, pH neutral, readily biodegradable, and environmentally friendly solution designed to help you keep your solar panels clean and minimize their maintenance and cleaning costs. The unique formula of SWP not only cleans a wide range of organic soiling but also provides a protective antistatic and antiadherent coating. This coating reduces the buildup of soiling between cleanings and makes the next cleaning easier. This means higher performance, longer lifespan and less effort time and effort on the next cleaning of the solar panels.
SOLAR WASH PROTECT 50 is a concentrated product
which must be diluted in water to form the SWP solution.
This SWP solution is used to wash photovoltaic solar
panels and its quick action makes it easy to clean all kinds
of dirt. After the efficient washing it leaves on the solar
panel a surface protection that will not allow the dirt to
adhere so easily, protecting the solar panel from scratches
and avoiding the fast decrease of solar panel power output
due to soiling accumulation.

This product was developed to be used in washing of
photovoltaic panels, facilitating its maintenance.
It can be used also to clean mirrors or lenses of
Concentrated Solar Power systems (CSP).
1. Dilute/mix the SWP concentrated product with water in the right
mixing ratio, to create ready-to-use SWP washing solution;
2. Use the SWP washing solution directly in the dirty
solar panels;
3. Brush the entire surface of the modules in order to
remove or loose the dirt present in the solar
modules;
4. Rinse the panels with water to remove any dispersed dirt or
excess of product left on the panels;
